Now Hiring - Sales Assistant II in Elgin, IL

Job Duties:

• Manage installation projects from start to finish including: receive PO(s) from customers, submit CAD drawing requests, submit CAD drawings and specifications to AHJ, create equipment orders, complete close out documents, properly file passed inspection report, and archive job folder once completed
• Assist and resolve issues with above installation projects such as AHJ follow up post submittal, add-ons, and change orders in a timely manner
• Receive and respond to customer inquiries and issues by telephone, email, and fax
• Assist sales force by performing routine clerical and administrative functions
• Create and maintain paper and electronic filing system for records
• Act as a liaison between sales and service by entering service orders as they arise with great detail and communicate with the appropriate service department accordingly
• Attend bi-weekly fire alarm production meetings and update associated spreadsheet(s) including the document used for billing installation jobs
• Produce and execute system monitoring contracts / agreements bid by sales representative
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities due to industry pace
• Maintain high level of accuracy in special projects and customer requests
• Become an expert in Customer Databases
• Strong computer software skills in Microsoft Office products and PDF creation and editing
• Must be a professional team player to ensure success of the department and business
